Break Free From Smoking

You might have tried to quit before. Maybe you made it a few days, a few weeks, even a few months. But the cravings pulled you back, or stress hit, and it all unravelled.

Willpower alone is rarely enough because the smoking habit lives in your subconscious. Hypnotherapy addresses those patterns directly, turning the cravings down or removing them completely.

Most clients feel a genuine shift after their very first session.

Melissa, clinical hypnotherapist

Why Quitting Feels So Hard

Part of you wants to quit. But something keeps pulling you back no matter how many times you decide to stop. That's your subconscious working against your own decision.

That's why most methods don't work long term. They deal with the nicotine but not the habit underneath it.

How It Works

Hypnotherapy works directly with your subconscious mind, which controls your habits and automatic responses. It's the part of you that reaches for a cigarette without even thinking about it.

Hypnotherapy accesses that part of your mind while you're in a deeply relaxed state and works to change those automatic patterns.

Sessions are relaxed and conversational. Melissa takes the time to understand why you smoke, what triggers it and what's kept you stuck.

From there she works with your subconscious to change how your mind responds to those triggers. The goal is to get to a point where the thought of smoking just doesn't pull at you the way it used to.

Quitting Vaping

Hypnotherapy works for vaping the same way it works for smoking. The habit sits in the same part of your mind and the approach is the same.

If you're trying to quit vaping or switch from cigarettes to vaping and want to stop completely, Melissa can help with that too.

What to Expect

A lot of people picture stage hypnosis when they hear the word hypnotherapy. It's nothing like that. You stay aware and in control the whole time and nobody is taking over your mind.

During a session Melissa guides you into a deeply relaxed state where your subconscious mind becomes more open and accessible. Some people remember everything clearly and others drift in and out of awareness. Both are completely normal and neither affects how the session works.

Most clients notice a genuine change after their very first session. The cravings turn down or go away completely and quitting starts to feel manageable.

Sessions are available in person at our Hervey Bay clinic or online from wherever you are in Queensland.

What You'll Notice

Most clients notice a genuine shift after their very first session. The cravings turn down or go away completely and the urge to reach for a cigarette starts to fade on its own.

You're not sitting there counting the hours since your last one or trying to distract yourself every time a craving hits. Your mind just stops asking for it the way it used to.

The moments that would usually trigger you start to pass without that automatic pull towards a cigarette. The association your brain built between smoking and those moments starts to break down and you find yourself going through the day without thinking about it.

A lot of our clients tell us they're surprised at how straightforward it was. They expected a real struggle and it ended up feeling nothing like that.
